Spanning many cultures and expressed in varied media, these works use images of birds and flowers to convey different sentiments and evoke different feelings. This curatorial gallery talk, led by Quintana Heathman, research assistant for Japanese Print Exhibitions, explores the history and poetic meanings behind these appealing images of birds and flowers.
